History

1969 LUDWIG WEISS
Internationally qualified hotel manager. 1991 Swiss Hotelier diploma Since 1999 he has been managing the hotel along with his parents.

1943 LUDWIG WEISS
Qualified in both hotel management and agriculture, has managed the hotel since 1968. Responsible for the complete renovation and restoration of the location Hotel Post.

1909 LUDWIG WEISS
Hotel owner and qualified agriculturalist, introduced through continued renovation and recontruction a modern international style to the hotel. For a long time he was city council member of Fürstenfeldbruck. He converted the farm into a ration.


		1876 LUDWIG WEISS Last royal post office owner. In 1923 the Post Office was dissolved. The Post offices became a wine bar and the horse stables were converted into garages. He introduced central heating and running water to the building to furnish it with a 'Hotel' character. He was also a recipient of various environmental awards for his contributions to agriculture.


		1843 LUDWIG WEISS Bavarian royal post office owner. Member of the Bavarian parliment for more than 30 years. He built the existing restaurant in 1872. 1801 LUDWIG ERASMUS WEISS Bavarian royal post office owner. Like his father he was a member of the Bavarian parliment. 1764 LOUIS PHILIPP WEISS Bavarian royal post office owner of both Fürstenfeldbruck and München. Leader of the Nationalguard during the Napoleonic wars. Rescued the Monastery church of Fürstenfeldbruck. Member of the 1. Bavarian Royal Court. Highly awarded and recognised during his time.


		1712 FRANZ JAKOB WEISS Bavarian royal post office and innkeeper. Recipient of service award from Kaiser Karl VII. He drowned in the Amper river while travelling to München in 1767. Beautiful Baroque tombstone in his honour in the Fürstenfeldbruck church. A potrait in his memory hangs in the St. Magdalena church. 1682 BERNHARD WEISS Bavarian royal post office owner. Acquired the "Oberhaus" property 1645 PAUL WEISS Innkeeper and "Churfürstlicher" post office owner. His brother was the famous Leonhard II. of Wessobrunn. 1615 JOHANN WEISS Innkeeper, taxcollector, and church orderly. His potrait and diary are stored as a object of value in the family archives. During his time the ownership of the "Weyerhaus" was acquired. 1590 MICHAEL WEISS His ancestors lived as fishermen at the Starnberger lake. In 1620 he purchased the building on the Fürstenfeldbruck market place where the hotel stands today.
